Sisters of the Golden Moon Dedication Page

Thanks, Heronwing!

As of early 2006, I am no longer a member of Sisters of the Golden Moon. I keep this page up in memory of the wonderful times and good friends I had while I was a part of this sisterhood.

Hi, my name is Honor74, and I welcome you to my Sisters of the Golden Moon Dedication Page. SGM is an online women's organization which I am proud to call myself a member of. This wonderful sisterhood is filled with many spectacularly talented women. I am very happy to have found a place where I feel wanted, needed and useful.

Galaxy Star Honor74

I became a member of SGM on March 5, 2001. I was a Silver Star in Scribe Constellation, and admittedly, not a very good, active member of SGM. After a few months of slacking off, I was sent a letter by Galaxy Star Heronwing that informed me to shape up or ship out. Heronwing and I had not always gotten along, but in that moment, I made a decision prove myself to her, and that would unknowingly change my life. I decided to be a part of SGM, and it did make a difference. I have been a Golden Persona of both Tales and Ezine Teams, Galaxy Star of Wisdom Constellation, back to a Silver Star in Scribes and Golden Persona of the Ezine Team, a Bronze Star in Scribes, a co-Galaxy Star of Scribes along with Heronwing and now that she has stepped down, a Galaxy Star on my own. I continued to grow and improve in my writing, which I love to do. I guess you could say I came home.

Now the two ladies who were burrs on each others butts, Heronwing and I, are great friends and despite the fact that we're not co-Galaxy Stars, we're still partners in a lot of ways. Now she can't get rid of me! LOL I consider her my mentor. Without her support and sometimes a good swift kick in the butt, I wouldn't be where I am today (insane!).

I am also very fortunate to have the help of several very special ladies, the Golden Persona Stars of Scribe Constellation. Peacefully, Amethyst, AutumnMist and EbonyPhoenixx make my job a lot easier and I am so glad I have such wonderful people that I can depend on. :-)

There are also a ton of others in SGM but outside of Scribe Constellation that I have had the pleasure of working and communicating with. Demelza, Lan, Crimson, Tin Lizzie, Iscu, Pandora, DookDancer, Lipstick and Katie are some of the best and I'm proud to consider them a part of my family.

My Woopass Stick

Here's my Official Woopass Stick (thanks Katie!) for keeping all those ornery Scribes in line! LOL!

Scribe Constellation

I am very proud to assist in putting together and writing for our bi-monthly ezine Phases of the Golden Moon as Editor. It is filled with wonderful writings, recipes, tutorials and much, much more, put together by the hardest working team I know, and is available for the public to view. The new issue comes out on the first of every other month. If you would like to view Phases, please click on the banner below.

I am also a Guiding Star, which means I get to help new members of SGM learn their way around and find their place in our universe.

Guiding Star

A constellation is made up of many stars together, and it is so with all of the constellations within SGM. With our Sisters, we make a complete and beautiful picture that could not be made alone. In darkness and in light, we shine together, as a family.

My Sisters have given me some beautfiul gifts during my tenure at SGM, in the form of graphics or just by being there for me. I wish I could display all of my gifts here, but I just don't have the space. However, I do have them saved on disk to look upon at my leisure. I would like to thank all of them, and hope that they will accept this small token of my appreciation.

For my Sisters!

The character is Japanese Kanji for sister. Japanese animation (anime) and music is a hobby of mine.

On the next page you will find the awards I have won during my time in SGM.
